We all love to tour battlefields both in groups and on our own. Today Fotos should be from one of your favorite guided tours, be it by Park Rangers, Licensed Guides or commercial tours.
This is one of the Horse Tours at Gettysburg. We had a licensed guide giving the tour who added a lot of stories with his descriptions of the areas we were touring.

Hood's Texas Brigade Association Re-activated battlefield tour of Spring Hill,Franklin and Nashville in June 2017. Day 1 of the tour included an unscheduled visit to the gravesite of Sam Watkins in Columbia,TN. Tour guides @EricAJacobson and Sam Hood.

I did the honors myself last year at Franklin's Winstead Hill for my friends Doug @1863surgeon (who took the picture) and his son Bradley; the lady below was our guide there at the Carter House, seen here on the back porch:
