Ah, but that's the beauty - there were no engineers at Fort Sabine, and it was not built by any military or scientific doctrine. And only one of the commanders had any military experience whatsoever. It was an effort by the local people to take responsibility for their own defense, as their pleas to CS authorities went unanswered for the first year of the war. It wasn't until after the arrival of Prince John in Texas that Sabine Pass was defended by a properly-built fortification (Fort Griffin).Looks really great. I hope figures are coming soon.
i like how your engineers were too lazy to cut off the planks to a uniform length.
