Hi all.
Just joined the forum. I am the researcher and and a lead investigator for a paranormal investigation group out of southern Illinois called the Little Egypt Ghost Society. I am personally planning a trip to Fort Pillow and would love to know more history about the place. Specifically, I'd like to know personal experiences at Fort Pillow (paranormal). I'd also like to know where the best places to investigate would be and best place to camp (especially for the paranormal). If there is anyone who could tell us more about where some specific things occurred. (e.g. the houses that burned with soldiers alive inside, as these horrific exact locations seem to still possess residual energy and many times present us with the evidence we seek).
We always enjoy company on our excursions to promote awareness and simply socialize and learn from them and their area. If anyone lives nearby and would like to meet up with us we'd love to hear from you. Fort Pillow is only three hours from me and I have been thinking I might spend a little extra time there this summer if the stories I keep reading seem to hold any merit.
Haven't heard anything about ghostly activity at Fort Davidson in Missouri, but am probably headed that way soon, too.
Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance!!
