Was FI ever realistic to expect?

Grant or Lee?

Sherman or Jackson?

Bragg or JE Johnston?
Those would be interesting topics, raines. Thanks.

Ok, we're crowdsourcing (21st century for brainstorming).

With the collective talent and knowledge found on this forum there have got to be more ideas. Any particular issues? Decisions made or not?

Proposing a topic does not mean you have to participate.

I have not the chops to debate this with others on the forum but in reading recently about engineering I'll throw in: More influential in the Union war effort John Ericsson/Eads on the water or Herman Haupt' on the rails?

Problem is, the lawyer on the one side would destroy the layperson on the other side.
Laughing-out-loud.

Lord have mercy . . . that's funny !
IMHO I think enough material is available for a lay person to go head to head with a member of the bar. However it is most likely to be two lay persons.
Agreed.
Plus . . . I'll raise ya' two insurance agents for every one attorney.:bounce:
