If I did a documentary about the civil war, this would play over the credits. Great vocal, second only to Ms. Vaughan (see above).

Crazed Fandango - an outtake from the Teaser Bolin by Tommy Bolin. I never heard this version before. Fusion and funk is way different than the straight out live rock version. Tommy has some fast licks.

New songs here please

OK! Now I have it the way I want it!

In keeping with the original, Glorybound starts this thread off. The remainder of the songs to this point were posted in Favorite Songs Part III WITHIN THE LAST WEEK. So if I missed your favorite, please excuse me. I had to have a cut off point somewhere. Part III is still available for view at this time, but it is locked to further replies. Thank you for your understanding.

Both videos rather outre.

From DIDO AND AENEAS by Henry Purcell and Nahum Tate

Recitative
Thy hand, Belinda, darkness shades me,
On thy bosom let me rest,
More I would, but Death invades me;
Death is now a welcome guest.

Aria
When I am laid, am laid in earth, May my wrongs create
No trouble, no trouble in thy breast;
Remember me, remember me, but ah! forget my fate.
Remember me, but ah! forget my fate.

Lhasa de Sela

Another of my favorites but more up-beat.
