Easter Greetings From the Food Forum

Want to add this simple recipe for a tasty dessert to serve for Easter. It was one of my Aunt's favorites.

Rice and Pineapple Pudding

1 cup boiled rice, weel chilled
1/4 cup sugar
1cup shredded pineapple, chilled
1 cup whipped cream
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

With a fork, mix rice with sugar and salt and vanilla. Stir in pineapple. Add whipped cream lightly and quickly. Chill a few minutes and mound in sherbet glasses to serve. Put Maraschino cherry or cube of pineapple on top. Or you could place a couple Jelly Beans on top to make festive for Easter.
 
Mmmm I’m currently yelling at custard :rofl: first lot is not good haha came out lumpy .. on attempt two now .. and remembering why I liked buying ready done custard! :roflmao:
