Being a southerner and just an admirer of the song I gotta go with DixieI played a little fiddle at a book signing at the Historic Lotz House in Franklin Tennessee. I play there a lot on Fridays for the tourists as the walk up the veranda. I like playing both tunes together. Which is your favorite?
If you're interested in my novel about the Battle of Island No. you can get it in the links below, or at the Lotz House!

Amen to that it sure is , even though your a Yankee at least you know where to go for a good lifeTalk to me for two minutes and you'll be able to tell right away: I'm undeniably a Yankee, but I love playing "Dixie" and I love Southern culture. It's a good life living down here.
