"Dining At Delmonico's: The Story Of America's Oldest Restaurant is by Judith Choste and was published in 2008. ''Delmonico's is synonymous with fine dining. The restaurant is the country's first real restaurant. It opened its doors in 1837 in Manhattan's financial district. Delmonico's was where American diners were introduced to some of our most beloved dishes, Lobster a la Newburg, Eggs Benedict, Manhattan Clam Chowder, Baked Alaska and of course the Delmonico Steak. Many were created in Delmonico's kitchen by New York's first star chef Charles Ranhofer, others were populazed here.

This book has more than 80 recipes from Delmonico's. It is a beautifully done book and a great addition to a cook book collection.
