I ordered this book last week and sadly it did not arrive again today. Well maybe tomorrow or Monday it will come. I will have to decide if I should put it on my to read book shelf or on my hope to get around to reading shelf. So has anyone read Walker's book?

I hadn't heard of it , but it looks like something I'd be interested in . I would recommend "Grand Traverse. The Civil War Era" by John Mitchell . It has some coverage of Co. K and discusses Native American issues in the area as well.

I have read this book and did enjoy it.

An interesting book. Forum members interested in first people during the Civil War might want to purchase this book.
