Those hypers do have amazing performance. My only concern at this point is battery life/recharge time. I know those are improving which is great for casual driving but what if you really get on it or say tow a boat, how long are those batteries going to last.For context I have a car with a 6.4 liter naturally aspirated engine, with that said all those things you listed at the end can easily be attributed to electric cars as well. The current hyper cars are a hybrid right now, they combine both to achieve even greater performance.
There is a relatively new Formula E racing series with special rules. Racing has historically been the place where new auto technology was proven and it is expected that this will drive the development of more efficient batteries.
