Hi, Grobby - welcome to the forums! Most folks here believe that photos would help determine particulars about collectables.

Nice looking revolvers. The Remington is not listed in the Springfield Research Service data base and with the serial # its a late war production. The GP is for inspector

GP Giles Porter Remington New Model and Pettengill Revolvers 1862-1875

The Colt is not listed either but from the serial # it was produced in 1862.

I also have a 36 cal Colt Pocket Navy 6.5 in Ser no 1134 and a Manhatton Pocket I will take some pictures of these tomorrow. I also have a cased Webley Bentley Percussion with tools I think this is about 1855 but not sure as I cannot get any info on early Webley numbers

Good photos and good info.
You might get better info if you split up your postings, so that you do not have a posting asking about "Colt and Remington" and then adding a couple very different Colts, and then a cased British Bentley revolver - readers who don't have an interest in British cased revolvers would not likely read and respond to your photos about your cased Bentley revolver, eh?
