Love these! Found quite a few, too, then an article warning of some kind of fraud in some? Of course there would be someone to ruin the whole thing.

It's not beyond reason to think some may have resulted in marriage later. My favorite love story of the war is Lottie and Chalmers, a couple who ' met ' when they began writing to each other. Their daughter thankfully published some of their letters back and forth as it progressed.
