Louis Marx Warriors Of The World Confederate Soldiers
IMG_0266.jpg

As promised in last week's Throwback Thursday, this week we feature the Confederate Warriors Of The World produced by the Louis Marx Company ca. 1964. Included is Gen. Lee from a slightly different variant of these, sold in a window-pane display box with all the figures glued to a cardboard insert that was at the bottom. Once again, these came with "collector cards" that featured a bogus "biography" of each man - but for some unknown reason this time included one of them as General Longstreet! For the full story and many more pictures of the figures, boxes, and cards, both Union and Confederate, please refer to my *new* thread on the subject:

Anyone else having (preferably) old Civil War-related photos, mementoes, or memorabilia from reenactments, living history or other events or vacation or other travel they would like to share with us is welcome and encouraged to do so in this weekly thread!
