In recognition of the television series about the life of Ulysses S. Grant currently airing this week, Throwback Thursday revisits a reenactment at Champion's Hill, Mississippi sometime in the mid-1980's; here I'm seen as a staff captain aide-de-camp to my friend Marty Brazil of Biloxi, Mississippi who is portraying Grant. We also portrayed Grant and his staff at the 125th Shiloh in 1987, subject of a previous thread:
