Since it's again near the anniversary of the Franklin-Nashville Campaign in Nov. - Dec., 1864, I thought this week Throwback Thursday would feature a couple of photos from Franklin and nearby Spring Hill taken in 2018 during our marathon vacation, driving all the way to Gettysburg and back to Texas. Above, Yours Truly, Doug @1863surgeon Garnett, and his son Bradley stand beside a marker describing the narrow Union escape at Spring Hill; below, Doug and Bradley during our guided tour of Franklin's Carter House. (This week Throwback Thursday is again appearing a day early, since I hope to be away tomorrow (Thursday) attending the annual Christmas Candlelight House Tours in Jefferson, Texas!)
