Civil War navy books

Robert:

There have been quite a few fairly recent recommendations posted in the Book and Movie Review section specifically on the Navies. Also, try logging on to abebooks.com and do a search by subject.
Good hunting.

Good reference book: Civil War Naval Chronology published by the U. S. Government Printing Office. I paid $9.75 for mine (yep, I'm that old and that was a huge sum back then) when I was a young 'un.

Thank you sir

I read this aboutthe book : "This book stinks! I mean come on! The first submarine to ever sink an enemy ship is the H.L. Hunley, not the R.L. Huntly"

what is the correct name of the submarine?
I have heard only H.L Hunley

Navy books

I have "Divided Waters" by Ivan Musicant; "The Naval History of the Civil War" by Bern Anderson and "Duel Between the First Ironclads" by William Davis. All are pretty good reads and informative. Hope this helps
