In the 1970's the late Leonard Hill a farmer and local historian of Miami County Ohio published his Scrapbook-a collection of articles relating to Miami County Ohio History. On p.30 in 1967 he reprinted a 1967 article in regard to the following Civil War Photograph:

Note_ I don't think it was by Brady neither he nor his assistants ever went to Tennessee!
Anyone have any idea when or by whom this picture was taken?

Query-circumstances of Picture? Did a woodcut version appear in F. Leslie Illustrated or harper Monthly?

I checked LIST OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS AND PHOTOGRAPHIC NEGATIVES RELATING TO THE WAR FOR THE UNION, NOW IN THE WAR DEPARTMENT LIBRARY. (1897) and found nothing. Did word searches for 'Court Martial,' 'Le Fevre,' 'Hilbert' and 'Chattanooga.'

Here's an 1865 Chattanooga court martial photo:

I'm thinking I'm seeing some overlap, like for example:

Photo in this thread: guy on left in front
LOC photo: second guy from left in back

But I'll let y'all decide. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of information attached to the LOC photo, even if some of the men are the same.
