I have a cart box for a 58 cal. I am able to store all 40 rds of B&B 69cal. in the double tins. Was just wondering if Confederates soldiers used a 58 cal. cart. box for their 69cal. muskets?

For the US anyway it wasn't all that uncommon for units to be upgraded to rifle muskets but not in their accoutraments, especially early war. So a .69 cal box w/ a .58 would not be that unusual IMO. And for what its worth the average spectator has a hard enough time resisting asking which side won: the Brits or the Americans.
