Sausage balls pair well with every party beverage — from beer to fine wine, from eggnog to spiked punch. Better yet, while they are best served warm, sausage balls are pretty amazing even when they’re cold. Tis the season to enjoy a Carolina classic!

Classic Carolina Sausage Balls

Ingredients:
1 pound country sausage
1 (10-ounce) package mild or sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
2 to 3 cups biscuit mix
1 teaspoon paprika

Directions:
Bring sausage and cheese to room temperature and combine in a bowl, mixing well.

Add paprika and biscuit mix, adding up to 3 cups of biscuit mix for desired texture. Roll into small balls.

Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
