Just posted this image in the Little Known Facts thread. First time I've ever seen it. I thought the photography buffs might like to see it.

This is my 4th Great Grand Uncle William Henry Phillips. He was a Lieutenant in Battery C, 1st New York Light Artillery. He commanded a section of the battery at Fredericksburg, their Captain being absent while equipping another section. They were engaged at Gettysburg, Chancellorsville, and were at the battle of The Wilderness but were not engaged. At Bethesda Church, they were heavily engaged and were directly across from the 21st Georgia Infantry to which some of my other ancestors belonged (namely John B Reed Jr and Sr, and Berry and Charles Yates).
