I'm trying to find out the number/size of the canister balls used for a 20 pound Parrott round. I'm curious as to whether more balls of the 10 pound Parrott size were used or the same number of a larger diameter. For the 10 pound Parrott canister round, I've read 48 balls just under one inch is diameter.

In practice, canister had 48 balls scaled up to to caliber. Oddly, I have not found a chart that specifically addresses the 20 pound Parrott canister in detail. Looked in my artillery folder without success.
