:hungry: One of my favorite things is getting a maple bar and putting a piece of nice, crisp bacon on top! I'm going to make this for sure!

Hmmmmm........ I just cured and smoked a couple pork loins to make so-called Canadian bacon. (I say so-called, as I heard Canadians don't smoke theirs. They just cure it and then roll it in crushed dried peas, slice it and then fry it.) I may have to try this and candy some of it up.

It is a little more sugar than prefer. I can get maple bacon at the store. I like it better than apple bacon. It is not too complicated of a recipe. I think it would be very easy to make. Thank you for the recipe @amweiner.

amweiner. Thanks for sharing this delicious looking recipe. How about eight strips of this bacon on a big double-decker cheeseburger with a big slice of white onion, mayo, lettuce on a toasted sesame bun? WOW!!! :bounce:David.
