Sorry I’ve been away but the great news is I’m now cancer free. Thanks to Jesus, 100%.
Since then, I have been keeping busy. Here are a few of the Minatures I’ve been busy with.

Great news Leigh !!! Looking forward to more great painting and modeling .

Great news!! So glad you are back.

I would like to hear how you prepared the ground work of the first two dioramas you posted. Ive decided to build a diorama for my French Napoleonic artillerymen & cannon. I forgot how I did it and the best way to attach the figures.
As I recall, I made the base with wood and maybe plastic sheets to form an outline. i cover it with Gesso. For this diorama, I want light coat of grass. Im not going to try knee-high grass. I have a bag of modeling(RR) grass that I think I can sprinkle over with glue & paint.
is that what you did?

Check out the line of AK Interactive diorama terrains. They have all sorts of ground...light mud, dark mud, dry, many more. Also water effects. I just did a Uboat diorama of a boat at sea. I used the clear water effect mixed with micro snow to make white caps. This stuff is really easy to use. Open up and apply. You can apply your tress, grass, leaves right over it. I did not even paint the dirt. I chose the terrain to match the painting, open the can and spread it on. And a little goes a long way! It lasts. Just check modeling stores...I use Sprue Brothers online store a lot. Or just google AK Interactive terrain. They have a ton of selections. You can PM me if you have any questions. You will like this stuff. BTW...I used modeling clay as the base for my water. Let it dry over night. Then you can add the AK as you desire. I use air drying soft modeling clay. I get it at hobbylobby.
