This delectable treat is a New Orleans favorite. It has been eaten since earliest days in New Orleans. These delightful rice fritters were made by African women in New Orleans. They would sell them on street corners. They write that these slaves obtained their freedom and family members by selling these. The rice fritter has a wonderful story. See:
