Great work on Generals Doubleday and Howard too! A person doesn't realize how much of a distraction the imperfections are until they are cleaned up and not there.

It should perhaps be noted that Beall is wearing the notorious Richmond photographer's prop brigadier generals' frock coat that also shows up on Western theater generals Marmaduke, Sibley, and others and (with the collar turned down to hide the stars!) a couple of colonels including Texas' Ochiltree as well.
