PILOT KNOB — When reenactors from across the country converge on the Fort Davidson State Historic Site in the Arcadia Valley this next weekend they will be bringing to life a significant Civil War battle that took place on those very same grounds exactly 150 years ago.
Traditionally held every three years, the reenactment of the 1864 Battle of Pilot Knob would have normally taken place in September 2013, however, planners delayed the event so it could be held on the battle's sesquicentennial.
