Saw this some time ago. And his formula of Power of Resistance = Means x Will is spot on in relation to Lee's overall strategy. Lee could not even attack the Union's means as it was huge in factories and the like. So he wanted to destroy the Army of the Potomac in each battle if at all possible to bring the North's will down to zero. And that would bring down the Power of Resistance to zero. Game, Set, Match ! But the longer the war dragged on his power was lessening.
