Thank you and you would have had a great time. I'll do this event again next year for sure. And I guess I confused you with my new dress lol.
 
@captaindrew are the different companies follow actual battle plans from the Civil War or do you lay out your own version?
 
Wow, what a nice event by appearances. Looks like it was well run -- good staging of events, great field for maneuvers and substantial participation of units, including cavalry! Also seeing some mix of reenacting and living history (educational signs and gear displays in some camps) yet hardly any reenactorisms (a few 1920s-style slat chairs in the camps, a modern guitar with the band -- nothing overt).

Cool. Only thing is to be there myself next year, if there is a next year.

There is a set scenario based on what happened there but that's all way above my pay grade, I just go where the guys with stars and bars on their collars tell me where to go.
