Battle of Antietam Diorama donated to the town of Sharpsburg

Antietam visitors may remember the Battle of Antietam diorama located at the Clara Bee Gifts on the Sharpsburg Pike. The shop closed following the death of the owner's wife a few years ago. The building housing the shop has been sold. It was announced yesterday in the Hagerstown Herald Mail that the diorama was going to be donated to the town of Sharpsburg with intent to display it along with other artifacts owned by the town when a suitable venue can be found.
