Hello all,

This piece of tree is from Culps Hill. I just had a question regarding preservation of the wood. I see a lot of these that have been coated with lacquer or epoxy but I'm guessing that's not the way to go. Is there any preservative that won't add a gloss finish but still help protect the piece?

thanks.

Rob

Nice Piece. You can go 2 ways. If its going to stay in the same environment leave it alone or you could turn it into a pen. Here is one I found then had Doc. make me a pen out of it.
