I was there. It was done in total silence, and he was escorted home to New York by a group of veterans who are escorts for every military funeral to make sure every veteran is escorted, even if he or she has no family. I cried like a baby.

I'm glad to hear that. Some of my kids thought it was kinda funny I would cry every time I watch the film about the Franklin unknown soldier. (Although a couple of big 'ol football players were sniffling as well)
