I found this on a private label: Hypocrisy Records, NYC

It's played to the beat & sound of Vanilla Ice's, "Ice Ice Baby".

    Nice Nice Yankee
    Nice Nice Yankee

    All right stop.
    CWT now listen.
Virtuous Yankees have a brand new invention.
    USCT's stand at attention.
    Will they fight ?
    Yo, I don't know.
Marching downtown, was a helluva show.

    March
Invade the South, kill them all,
    Yankee terror, coming for y'all.
Sherman, Sheridan, Hunter are their names,
Rape, theft, murder, are their games.
If there's a problem, Yo he'll solve it,
He's honest Abe, & can absolve it

    Nice Nice Yankee, virtuous
    Nice Nice Yankee, virtuous
    Nice Nice Yankee, virtuous
    Nice Nice Yankee, virtuous

Suffering and death are the scenes in play,
The evil Rebs, so they say.
The words of virtue, spew from their mouths,
While destruction & flames rise from the South.
The Yankee man come, the blacks must go,
    Virtuous intent, all for show.
Pile the bodies, stack the dead,
March the mud, the grass is red.
Fields of battle so close to home,
    Johnny's backyard, all he's known.
Kill his cattle, rape his wife,
steal the silver, take his life.

If there's a problem, Yo he'll solve it,
He's hones Abe, & can absolve it.

    Nice Nice Yankee, virtuous
    Nice Nice Yankee, virtuous
    Nice Nice Yankee, virtuous
    Nice Nice Yankee, virtuous

The war is over, the generals have met,
the scene is somber, the grass still wet.
Thousands of lives, lost in vain, decades of suffering to forever pain.
Honor our dead, give them a voice,
build them a monument, let us rejoice.
We sacrificed so much, everything was lost,
all but our honor, was taken for the cause.

Southern Independence was our earnest desire,
we fought tooth, & nail vs. brimstone, & fire.
Yankee man come, destruction by his hand,
War on Civilians, the name of his band.
Honor thy fallen, the invaders were met,
sacrificed in blood, lest we forget.....

    Word to your Mother....

Cash is a big woke Rap fan so I bet he’ll like this. It’s better than the tune discovered yesterday and as good as anything in Hamilton, IMHO.

    Okay....

I've never been a fan of such "music" but the horrible part is, that I can actually hear Vanilla Ice singing that song playing my head. Not my first choice to hear first thing in the morning, but very inventive.

After yesterday's song, now this, all I can say is the North and South are at it again lol.

The USCT fought a whole lot more then the semi mythical black Confederate troops. Lets compare the one time black Confederate troopsfought at Paynsville vs all the times the USCT fought.

How many Southern white women were raped vs how many black women were raped by Southern white men?

Most USCTs were from the South, so hardly "invasion" more like liberation.

I note the irony of using a white rapper for this form of cultural appropriation.

I never got the concept of " cultural appropriation". There are a large number of extremely talanted Asian classical and jazz musicians.
There are black classical opera singers.
Yes I know Pat Boone and others did a horrible job covering early rock and roll.
Yet I don't why it's a sin for a member of one race to perform the music of another
after all there is Charlie Pride and Freddy Fender.

I can try but I never claimed to be a musical genius.
It's a horrible time to be a musical writter since it is very easy to be sued because a line or two was previously done by someone else. A famous example is when the Beach Boys appropriated from Chuck Berry "Surfin USA" from "Sweet little 16".
I will see what I can do since it's not a CWT requirement to write original tunes.

How could we have American music without cultural appropriation?
Jazz and Ragtime use European instruments but without black mussicians both art forms would of never happened.
The Banjo is indigenous to Africa and the guitar to the Middle East.
Two of the greatest Southern musicians were heavily influenced by black culture.
A young Hank Williams sat on cornor of a Birmingham street cornor to learn how to play the blues from what he described latter in his lufe as" a Coloured Gentlemen".
A young truck driver from Memphis , Tennessee practiced with black Gospel groups just before they performed for the annual Jublie. Elvis got his moves from and style from Whyonie Harris and the man women loved to death the great Jackie Wilson.

I'm not surprised a white [and mediocre] artist was picked as a model.
