He escaped Fort Donelson but was captured by walking through the Union lines. He was with Bushrod Johnson. If I'm reading the biography correctly Johnson slipped away but Anderson was captured?

Before his wounding at Shiloh he was an aide to a general. One biography just states it was a General Johnson, while this one states it was Gen. A. S. Johnston.Two differant people, which was it Johnson or Johnston?
