Hi all,
Finally was able to find an Allen and Wheelock 44 army lipfire and I'm psyched! SN 139 out of 250-500 total made. This is a second model, second variation which seems to be the most common. The cylinder was also modified to accept the normal 44 rimfire (see the rebate cut out at the cylinder rear face). My question though, for anyone that might be familiar with these, has anyone seen one that's appeared to be tapped for either some kind of wire-type shoulder stock or lanyard? This one is tapped for a screw on both the butt bottom and rear of the backstrap.

I'll post some more photos later in the week; I've got a single round of 44 lipfire in the mail on the way so I want to photograph them together.
