Here's my treasure: Ultra rare version of a Confederate staff officers button, found at a house that J.E.B. and his staff visited a couple of times during the war. Dug two years ago this very day.

This is the only pic I can find of it at the moment, I'll have to grab another pic.
Thank you. Lots of bullets. I have a long way to catch up. What are the little hills made of.? That looks great.

I nailed random sized blocks of wood together, then put plaster over top of them. Then I painted the surfaces, brushed Woodland Senics liquid glue onto the surfaces and sprinkled on a mixture of dirt or woodland senics ground foam.

Wow, I check out for a few days and I missed 11 pages of collecting goodness! Great idea Dave! And everyone, NICE shares! I'm impressed, and covetous.

So I'll put up a bit of mine. Some arms, and some notes. The kepis are modern, made to honor 2 of my GGGranddads.

and a few notes... top left was signed by SG Tinsley, who served later in the war with General Lee as a guide ('bout as close to the great man as I'll likely come).

I have some replica kepi's for my ancestors. Could you post (or IM me) a close up image of the cool Hammer on that shotgun below the Cavalry Kepi? That intrigues me.

Thanks I only dream of owning at least one of those weapons.

Well I got something cool in the mail today. I took a chance on a M1816 Springfield bayonet that Shiloh Relics had because it looked like it would match the patina of my original M1822 Sprinfield conversion ( the M22 is basically a revised M16) and took a chance that it would fit. Well I lucked out. The patina matches perfectly and it fit like a glove like they've always been together.
