A heart-rending letter from a cousin of Stonewall?

    I found this letter among Smith's personal papers.

    It is a sad letter from a young lady claiming to be related to Stonewall.

    Maybe some of you who have genealogy experience can identify her. Thanks.

    The letter is so sad. I wonder what her father's first name was. Maybe could find more about her and that side of family.
