I didn't take this photo but have visited the site several times in backwoods Mississippi near the Mississippi River. The huge stone columns topped by cast iron Corinthian finials are all that remains of the three-story plantation home, Windsor, which burned in 1900 when some fool threw a lighted cigarette into a wastebasket! It is very near Bruinsburg where Grant crossed the river in his Vicksburg Campaign in May, 1863.
I narrowed it down to two, just couldn't decide, so flipped a coin! It looks as though the photo that lost in my coin toss is in the lead! That's fine with me!
