An almost poetic photo - the setting sun, the dry leaves, the monument in half shade.... I would not be surprised to see it as cover photo on "Hallowed Ground" magazine some day!
Thanks everyone. A welcomed surprise. It is of my favorite place and one of my places of peace and serenity even though what happened there at the dead angle at Cheatham Hill during the North Georgia campaign of 1864 was anything but that.
