Can anyone tell me where I can find photographs or paintings of the officers and men of the 19th Georgia???

Here's one. Sorry, Only one I could find.

Residence Paulding County GA;
Enlisted on 6/25/1861 at Paulding County, GA as a Captain.

On 6/25/1861 he was commissioned into "H" Co. GA 19th Infantry
He was Retired on 2/4/1864


He was listed as:
* Wounded 6/26/1862 Mechanicsville, VA (Wounded in hip)
* Furlough 3/25/1865 Doctortown, GA


Promotions:
* Lt Col 8/12/1864 (Of Beall's Battn.GA. State Troops)


Other Information:
born in Carroll County, GA
died 2/9/1917 in Birmingham, AL

(Married Mary J. Merrell on Oct. 5, 1862. Died at age
83 years)

After the War he lived in Birmingham, AL & Nashville, TN

Hello, hope you are still interested by pictures of soldiers of 19th Georgia. I personally have two found somewhere on the net. First is 1st Lt John R Selfridge of Co G (Henry Guards), second is an unknown private of Co I (Villa Rica Gold Diggers)

Love these, especially the one on the left. The homemade epaulets are great!
