1861 Springfield musket

I seen a 1863 springfield dixie gun works musket but it had japan stamped on the barrell are these better than the european muskets?

I have had like five of the Japanese made 1863s over the years. Though not for early war reenactment use, but for handling, shooting and weight I like them over Enfields and the 1861 repros. And every one I shot was accurate as hell with live bullets. I will admit on every one of them the front sight was a tiny bit to the side so if I shot at a milk jug at 50-60 yards I had to aim about a foot to the right but hit it every time. Don't know why their front sights were like that. This was back in the '70s and early '80s. Mybe they are better now.
