hello gents i have 1860 rifle what looks like a carbine forend o n it i have nothing to compare it with it mearsures103/16 long i the s/n n0 is 1945 iwould like to know the history on if there is any iwill try add pic of the if can thanks
It looks as if it has been sporterized in order to make it lighter, more than likely post war. Around 67,000 Spencer's were produced and of that approximately 11,000 were rifles.
hi gents thanks for your replies it still has a 30 in barrel i was not sure if it was cut back or it is a carbine forend i am still looking for some info on the s/n 1945 which could be a copeland rifle thanks again
