1812 Whitney Confederate cut down

Here I present a US M1812 Whitney that was converted to percussion via brazed bolster (in the style of Cyrus Fisher of Lynchburg). It was damaged and cut down 2.5 inches and the upper spring was repositioned via proper mortise cut. Ram rod cut, threaded and new bayonet lug added during repair. NOT a Macon Arsenal repair as the barrel was not turned
