William Reynolds, whose monument (with an anchor on top!) is seen at right of his brother John's in the City Cemetery in Lancaster, PA.
 
We are:
John Fulton Reynolds- Major General of Volunteers - died 1 July 1863 (age 42) at Gettysburg- buried Lancaster Cemetery (Lancaster, PA) and older brother
William Reynolds- died 5 Nov 1879 (age 63)- buried Lancaster Cemetery (Lancaster, PA)- During the Civil War, he served as a commander on the "USS New Hampshire" in the Union of southern ports. After the war, he rose to the rank of Rear Admiral. He died in Washington, D.C. and was buried next to his younger brother, General John F. Reynolds.
