Trivia 11-26-18 The Main(e) Question

According to my 1st source there is only 1 regiments fits that fits the clue “Camp King, Cape Elizabeth - and that is the 17th Maine.
My 2nd source describes the July 2nd fighting and that would solve the clue of the action of the 20th Maine on the same day.
My 3rd source shows the 2 monuments at Gettysburg fitting that part of the clue describing both days of fighting (2nd and 3rd).
My problem I am having is the clue regarding Miss Corbell’s soon-to-husband General Picket and the words “that also claimed to have helped repulse the charge”.
My 4th source states: “The 17th Maine fought ably in the confused and bloody action in the Wheatfield; a sea captain turned artilleryman named Freeman McGilvery cobbled together a defensive line that proved decisive on July 2; and the 19th Maine helped stop Pickett's Charge during the battle's climax.”
My 5th source claims: “The 17th Maine was spared from combat on July 3”. So the 17th Maine does not appear to fit the July 3 reference to the question, however, the 19th Maine only has 1 memorial at Gettysburg and was organized in Bath, Maine.
The last clue about adding ten, etc, leads me to think the forgotten regiment was the 7th - surrounded by private property and is a difficult walk to reach the monument, according to my 6th source, and adding 7 & 10 leads back to the 17th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment, so that is my answer and I am hoping there will be a clarification (hopefully with a reference) on how involved was the 17th at the charge that was to be named after Lasalle Corbell’s soon to be husband.

The 20th gets the glory and renown, refusing its flank under extreme pressure but it wasn't the only regiment from that State to do so at much the same time. Which regiment that was organised at Camp King, Cape Elizabeth and that also claimed to have helped repulse the charge that was to be named after Lasalle Corbell's soon to be husband was it? As a clue it has two memorials. Alternatively add ten to the number of the 'forgotten' Pine Tree regiment (Ten Infantry Regiments formed from its native sons are immortalised in stone there but only nine get frequent visitors).

This question is a bit confusing. The 17th Maine fought in the Wheatfield July 2nd and was not actively engaged on July 3rd. The 19th was engaged on July 2nd as well as near the center of the Union line on July 3rd. But they only have 1 monument. The 17th has a monument as well as a flank marker, as do many regiments. The only Maine regiment with 2 monuments at Gettysburg is the 20th, although as stated, many have monuments as well as markers.

Edit - You don't seem to have settled on an answer, so I'm afraid I can't give you credit for being correct.

I believe it was the19th Maine. On July 2nd, the 19th Maine successfully charged the Alabamans near Plum Run and recaptured cannons that previously fell into Rebel hands. On July 3rd they held back the rebel advance (Pickett's Charge) at the stone wall, they were sent in to bridge a gap near the Copse of Trees. Lasalle Corbell is Mrs. George Pickett.

19th Maine, 3rd Brigade 2nd Division of the 2nd Corps. Actually the 19th Maine is the unit given the greater credit in helping repulse Pickett's Charge, it being in the 2nd Corps and much closer to the charge, very near the Copse of trees. They lost 12 officers and 220 men at Gettysburg (Some say the losses are lower for the 19th). The 19th Maine has one monument at Gettysburg Monument The 17th has two monuments to it at Gettysburg, it was a part of the 3rd Corps. It did not take part in the fighting of the 3rd day.

17th Maine (The 7th Maine is one of the four 'forgotten' Regiments on the difficult to access Neill Avenue).

Source(s):

http://gettysburg.stonesentinels.com/union-monuments/maine/7th-maine/ (That the 7th Maine is on the difficult to access Neill Avenue)

http://gettysburg.stonesentinels.com/union-monuments/maine/17th-maine/ (That the 17th claimed to have helped repulse Pickett's charge though this seems to be something of a stretch)

(That Lasalle Corbell becomes 'Sallie' Pickett)

http://civilwarintheeast.com/us-regiments-batteries/maine/17th-maine/ (That the 17th was organised at Camp King)

Edit - The 17th Maine fits the clue about being organized at Camp King, Cape Elizabeth, while the 19th Maine does not fit that clue.

The 17th also fits the clue about having claimed to have helped repulse Pickett's Charge. While it may be debatable whether the 17th Maine played as big a role in that repulse as the 19th, the 17th Maine did, in fact, claim to have helped.
