Who was “wooed” to her “warrior’s tent”? Is she buried beside him?

credit: @Eleanor Rose

Bonus:
I was a planter and after graduating from a Tennessee Medical College, I became a prominent physician. I served as a regimental surgeon
in the Mexican War. At the start of the Civil War I raised a company of cavalry from the sons of prominent families in my county. Later I
was promoted to colonel of a cavalry regiment. By 1863 I commanded a brigade in a famous general's cavalry, participating in the pursuit
of Streight's raiders. During a campaign in the summer of 1863 I was mortally wounded.

Who am I?
What cavalry regiment was I colonel of?

(I knew this answer because I have been reading and studying Eric Wittenberg's (and Dave Powell's)magnificent and insightful study of the Tullahoma campaign)

This is the only fellow I could find that fits all of the clues except graduating from a Tennessee Medical College but it’s all I got:
1. Colonel James Wellborn Starnes
2. Cavalry Regiment: 4th Tennessee Cavalry, CSA. (Williamson County Cavalry)

Regular question:

Finally one question I don't need to search for (but took the opportunity to leave a flower on her Find a Grave memorial):
None other than Helen Dortch Longstreet was wooed to her warrior's tent - and sadly no, she is not buried beside him.

"Wooed to the Warrior's Tent" is how Helen Dortch Longstreet (1863-1962) described her first encounter with James Longstreet (1821-1904).
James Longstreet's remains are buried in Alta Vista Cemetery, in Gainesville, Georgia, next to his first wife, Maria Louisa Garland Longstreet (1827-1889). Helen's remains are buried in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.

James Wellborn Starnes (1817-1863), who raised Starnes' 8th Tennessee Cavalry Battalion. In May 1862, this unit was merged with others to form the 3rd Tennessee Cavalry, which later became the 4th Tennessee Cavalry. Colonel Starnes and Colonel William S. McLemore commanded.
By 1863 Starnes commanded the 2nd Brigade of Forrest's Cavalry and led it in Forrest's Brentwood Raid, in the fights around Franklin, and the successful pursuit of Streight's raiders in Alabama. On June 28, 1863, he was mortally wounded by a sharpshooter at Bobo's Crossroads.
