At the time of the assassination, besides Pres. and Mrs. Lincoln two more persons were present in the Presidential box at Ford's Theater: a lady and a gentleman.

1) Give the names of the lady and the gentleman
2) What caused the untimely death of the lady in 1883?
3) Where was the gentleman laid to rest after his death in 1911? (The city would be enough to answer the question)

1. Henry Rathbone and Clara Harris
2. Clara was murdered by Henry Rathbone
3. Hanover, Germany

Answers:
1) Major Henry Rathbone and his fiancee, Clara Harris, daughter of Senator Ira Harris
2) She was killed by her husband, Major Henry Rathbone, who after the assassination developed a mental illness. While he once tried (not for the first time) to attack their children, Clara rushed to their aid and was first shot, then stabbed to death by Rathbone in a fit of insanity.
3) Hannover, Germany - Stadtfriedhof Engesohde (Engesohde Cemetery), but the grave no longer exists
