This small cookbook was discovered at a library sale. The Dormeyer Company started in early 1900s in Chicago. They made mixers and blenders. Their blender was a cheaper rival to Sunbeam and their mixer was cheaper rival to Mixmaster. They went out of business in late 1960s.

This book has recipes for main dishes, baked goods, desserts, sandwich spreads. soups, baby foods, and beverages. It is from the company and dated early 1930s.

It also gives instructions on the blender and how to care for it.

The chapter on sandwich spreads has some delicious ones to try.

One I particularly liked was the Baked Bean and Bacon Sandwich Spread.

2 tablespoons vinegar
1 lb can baked beans with tomato sauce
4 strips of cooked crisp bacon, broken into pieces

Put ingredients in container. Cover and blend thoroughly at the No. 3 speed for 20 to 30 seconds. Spread on Boston brown bread.
