Clinton, Louisiana is a neat little town. A number of antebellum homes,a Civil War era courthouse and monument on the grounds,a Confederate Cemetery and the site of a Confederate hospital which still has part of the original structure. A local SCV camp has a Confederate Memorial Day ceremony at the cemetery every year. Haven't figured out how/why it didn't get burned by Union troops.
