I am currently out visiting Chickamauga, I intended to make a post on this engagement today, whether it be Bierce's brilliantly vivid "Crime at Pickett's Mill", Sam Foster's account of the battle (left at home) or recounting the events of the battle using Castel's Decision in the West, Symond's Stonewall of the West, and Lundberg's book on Granbury's Texas Brigade. Since a lot of those sources I don't have, and don't know if I have time for those I do, I don't think I'll be able to post it all today.
So, thanks Rob for helping pick up the slack
