Trivia 04-08-2020 Who Am I?

One should think that a pre-war New York banker and post-war Congressman should be easy to be found. Definitely not. I spent two nights, searching for hours, and the only promising reference coming up is the Biographical Directory Of The American Congress 1774 to [choose a year], each with more than a thousand pages - and the search function is not helping at all. I could find no entry containing all the clues so I have no idea who that veteran is supposed to be. :frown: Good for you, Rob.

Unless a miracle happens in the next few hours, I will have to pass on this one. Too many New Yorkers who were in banking, who were wounded at Gettysburg, who eventually made Colonel, and who were later Representatives or Congressmen for me to find him. :frown:
